How to be a 'A' star student
If you feel bored when you look at your note, then there is something wrong with the way you take note. If at the end of the course and you can't remember what you have learn in the first week, then you haven't don't your revision properly.
Here are a few simple tips.
1: Don't just take note. Make your note look interesting and fun. Make use of colorful pens, drawing and cartoon.
2: Use blank paper which you are free to draw and sketch. Pictures are easier to be remembered than words.
3: Do a quick five minutes revision of your note after each lecture.
4: Don't just keep your notes in the file folder. Stick it on the wall in your study room where you can easily see it. Stick it beside your favorite poster in your bedroom.
5: Spend half an hour to look through all the note you have taken in that week quickly. Revise the note of that week and also all the notes from previous weeks. This way, you will always see the whole picture.
6: Don't just put the knowledge in your head. Try to take it out by discussing with friends and solve problems. Learning the knowledge is only half of the story. The other half rely on how good you are at applying it to solve problems.
7: Take a shower before revision can help too. Water has amazing affect on waking your brain up.
