Plumbing advice for combining hot and cold water

I am looking for a plumbing expert who can give me advice on how to combine the old style separated hot and cold taps into a single tap.

I have a basin in the toilet where the hot and cold water taps are separated. It is not very convenient to use. I want change this into a single tap.
